We’ve already established that he was exaggerating, please stop fulfilling UGA fan stereotypes in my thread

He seems the best option, but I dont expect sudden magic either. I saw quite a few games at USC with him. He has a great arm but he made some very bad decisions too. Maybe he has matured, but would have to see it. Still. Better than Mathis for sure.

I watched his USC highlight reel and it looks like he likes to throw 50 yard bombs into double coverage. Had two receivers that were pretty good at getting air and coming down with the ball.
Oh forgot to add that when he wasn’t throwing into coverage he was hitting receivers in stride on deep balls. Something we haven’t seen at Georgia since Aaron Murray.

Costello adjusted to that sec speed just fine. Hoping Daniels can do half that well

You guys for goddamn sure don't have a Mike Leach on staff.

Mathis was benched in what, one quarter? Your best QB so far has been a prior walkon? Leach might literally be a wizard, you guys have looked way less polished on offense than ever before.

The preferred walk on put up 25 points in a half. That included a fumbled possession by our RB and kneeling to end the game. We dont need Mike Leach to win games.

lol did you not watch UGA last year? UGA averaged around 21ppg last year. UGA looked fine with Bennet at QB. He managed to get UGA 25 points in about 2 quarters worth of play.

Arkansas has won a single, as in, one, single, game in the SEC since the end of 2016.

They were the worst team in the league on defense last season.

Looking good against them isn't hard at all. That may literally be the worst team you play all season and they were winning at halftime.

I never said Arkansas was good.
Is ole miss good?

They will be the worst team we play all season.
But our margin of victory may be greater in weeks to come.

and they were winning at halftime.

When has that ever mattered?
I've never seen a UGA fan brag about beating Florida after 1 or 3 quarters. I've never seen a UGA fan brag about a halftime score against the Gators.

Is halftime a big deal down in Gainesville? Lots of high fives and pats on the back in the locker room?

I can wait for your reply.

Where are you getting this?
It was 27.7 ppg vs P5 in the reg
season and 26 ppg if you include post season.

He was guessing.
23.6 against conference play in 2019 which is relevant because this entire season is conference play.

"I don't know why it's a bad thing to be losing at halftime to the worst team in the SEC for the past three years when we are bigger, stronger, more talented and have more resources than the other team."

We were never losing to Ole Miss, not even for a second. As it should be when you hold every possible advantage over an opposing team.

PS, I'll ban bat you from the rant that Ole Miss crushes Arkansas.

NOW you're doing ban bets when you didn't have enough balls to back up your Gators and 17 prediction last year?

Read the entire thing and he hasn't posted anything "spot on" in 3 years

I'll be glad to go over his NUMEROUS UGA predictions that were fails.

How about that sig bet that UGA is a better offense in 2020 than 2019 (conference play)?

You seem pretty riled up at the moment. Put some skin on this thing. You shot your mouth all offseason and it hasnt stopped in week 1.

You guys want to talk all that shite and then back down when your posting career is on the line.

"I dun care, I just post this much and get mad because of my apathy, you see."

Never thought I would have to use this twice in one day.

Why the frick would my posting career be on the line for an Ole Miss vs Arkansas game?

Honestly, when does anyone outside of those 2 teams ever care about that game.

Straws putting up strawmen all over the board today. You smell like a pussy on here.

Why is the halftime score a glaring issue?

Our pwo qb put up 25 points in a half. Is that a glaring issue?

I can have a serious discussion about glaring issues but these strawmen arguments are a joke.

I don't think that phrase means what you think it means

quote:

our true freshman put up 34 points on them in the second half last year. The next week the offense struggled pretty mightily against LSU and Bo Nix was a glaring issue in that game.

"Decent performance by a QB against Arkansas" does not equal "offense is good enough to not be considered an issue"

If you can't see that not being able to bully Arkansas around from the first snap with y'all's talent level isn't an issue, I don't know what to tell you. We had a pretty similar game against UK and I'm expecting a borderline anemic offense on Saturday
