I'd love to hear your math on this given that he pitched 3 innings and gave up 2 ERs.

Let's hear it genius.

He threw 3 innings and had 8 Ks before the “weather delay”

For the love of God, can we extend his “skid”?

2 hits, 8 Ks, 1 ER and no walks in 11 batters faced. If that’s his floor, I’d say he’s pretty good

3 runs in 3 innings off of him. I'll take that as well.

I've never known a great pitcher to have an "L" on their record.

Can someone help me here?

No, Skenes dominated you. You beat our bullpen and lost the series

Very selective on your memory. Guess you forgot the 2 Homeruns and 3 runs he gave up in 3 innings.

Coach Vitello would have turned Skenes into a legend.

He’s really done wonders with your ace this year. 3 losses in SEC starts.

Quality competition can do that. When you aren't facing the directional swamp collleges or the Aggies of the world it's not so easy to pile up the W's, is it?

Thanks. Please let him know next year when your washing his Lamborghini.

It's about wins bro. Skenes sits on his butt and LSU finally squeaks one out. Weird, right?

It is incorrect to say his ERA for the game was 9.0. As one of the three runs was unearned, the ERA was 6.0.

Not exactly dominating.

Plenty of strikeouts, sure, yet consistent with Carolina's MO of leading the nation in strikeouts and homers. The number of batters Skenes struck out is impressive, but we definitely had the winning strategy for beating him. Not many starters win games with a 6.0 ERA.

Are you stupid? Skenes had a no decision and he struck out a lot of hogs. I'd prob STFU if I was you.
