I'm guessing you overlooked this right here that I wrote:

Stanford & USC might be the only exceptions in that they have endowment money specifically set up to subsidize Athl Scholarships, but that's TWO colleges out of the Top75, the other 73 big money schools pay for schollies as an operating expense out of yearly revenues, the majority being TV-RADIO-MERCHANDISING-Tickets

It might be more than 2 but the amount of Ath Depts that endow FB & MBB scholarships are in the minority

His $250K wouldn't cause his poor family members to lose whatever they get based on their tax returns

So the players shouldn't get paid so they can keep the welfare benefits that they grew up depending on

Okay. You have no idea how any of this works. They kid is still a member of the household. His or her income would be counted towards then households income.

Tell ya what

Go talk to the the Revenue producing Athletes that have been getting an education from your cherished UGA and see what their opinions are

Do you think they would agree with me OR would they agree with you, after all they're getting an education from your beloved UGA so I'm sure you'd embrace their opinions

I'm not talking about the school's endowment.Im referring to the Athletic Depts who endow scholarships LINK

quote:

The University of Georgia Athletic Association annually awards scholarships to approximately 600 student-athletes. These scholarships, which cover tuition, fees, room, board and books, cost the Athletic Association just under $9 million annually. With a little over 200 named scholarship endowments, that tuition bill is partially offset by the interest revenue generated by these endowments.

I clearly wrote Athl Depts, I mentioned Stanford & USC because I know for a fact that they endow Schollies in the Revenue producing sports

Doesn't change the fact that revenue producing sports at a place like UGA generate more than $100MM per yr and are fiscally self sufficient

Those scholarships are paid for by TV & Radio Money, merchandising and Tickets sales

Here is a hint, dipshit. Guess why athletic facilities almost always have someone's name on them?

Because they wrote a fricking $20 million check.

Yes, and you have exposed exposed yourself as an uneducated, racist shitbag.

Football has always been the moneymaker. Your point?

You claim tickets and merchandising pay for it all? Take a look in the stands, you stupid, racist frick.

Give me a breakdown the demographics.

So break it down for me. Here is a link to GT's roster. How much should each one be paid. I will add UGA's roster too. Take your time. Make sure it's fair.

Stanford lowers academic standards significantly for the sake of diversifying it’s student population and especially it’s athletic programs. You don’t want to talk about that though, do you?
