Bingo! When Auburn played Oregon, I was an Auburn fan that night...same with LSU and Fla. when they were there.

When Southern Cal was King of the PAC, I never once cheered for them! ( not even in Natty ) The crystals that they won are in their trophy cases, not the Ducks!
I am 100% Oregon Ducks! The PAC 12 is just the conference that we play in ...........................
I am happy and yet surprise at some of y'all replies. I am happy to see that most of you put your program ahead of the SEC logo!

Reallt Only Bama MIZZ or the Barn has any chance of going... I would cheer for the tide or Mizz, but never cheer for the barn. It I would hope any sec team wins there bowl game except for the barn and lsu. I just get tired of all the bottom feeders losing to these sucky teams in bowl games year in and year out, then everyone talking about how bad the sec does in bowl games.

Right. My deal is why would I would root for someone to win a title that we directly recruit against. All that does is hurt us. frick the SEC streak.
Unless Vandy went. Then you pretty much have to root for them.

I am for Auburn.
When "Voting" has a place in deciding NC, it is just a beauty contest.
In the NFL, every team must qualify for the playoffs. In college, people vote on it.
I respect that some teams have good teams, but every playoff spot should be based on non-voting criteria.

as far back as i can remember. i've always pulled for whichever SEC team was playing for the championship. my goodness, thats what separates us from every other conference. thats what annoys and confounds the other conferernces. and that my friends, is a beautiful thing

This. I hear the recruiting talk, but think about how many out of SEC state recruits (California as an example) look at SEC schools because it is seen as the preeminent conference. Of course, a school you battle against winning a NC will hurt you with a few recruits. But SEC dominance has opened the doors of recruiting to places like the West Coast. For A&M, in particular, Kyle Allen and Qualen Cunningham are guys from the state of Arizona that we have committed that have mentioned SEC competition being a major factor in their decisions. Recruits want to play AGAINST THE BEST OF THE BEST and that is the SEC.
