I don't see any negatives in their addition. They'd be on the same level as TAMU in my book. Oklahoma ain't coming.

No TugJob. They add nothing to revenue or prestige

Are you even serious?

You're adding zero footprint and almost as much TV audience to the conference at the cost of creating a mini SWC (A&M, Ark, TCU, UH) in the SEC West.

Other than they are Texas schools and we already have a Texas school.

Expansion is about markets not teams. Why do people not understand this?

The populations of FT. Worth, Dallas and Houston they'd clearly bring more eyes than OU/OSU. 11M people>3.8M people.

Arkansas — as a member of the SEC West — plays an extremely tough conference slate, but the TCU game adds another difficult element to the 2016 schedule. So much so that Enos said playing TCU is like an SEC team itself.

“Great challenge for us Week 2,” Enos said. “It’s SEC football. It’s like, might as well just add on another SEC game for us.

“This will be a great challenge for us, and be great preparation as we move forward to our season.”

I can assure you UH and TCU have very minor fan bases in Houston and Dallas compared to texas, OU and A&M.. even LSU(Houston) and Arkansas(Dallas) have more abundant followings in their respective cities.

Yeah, it's not like there's a major SEC presence in those markets already, right?

Half of those are already A&M fans. I wouldn't be surprised if there are as many LSU fans in Houston as Houston fans.

Not to mention that SEC fans (Especially Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas) have a combined following larger than TCU in Dallas.

There just aren't that many fans of those two schools.
