SEC Championship Game - check (we still have to win it all and then win the National Championship game for it to really matter however - which is obviously a higher goal and different set of standards than the grinders I guess)
CWS finals - check
College basketball Final Four ... it's coming. It's just a matter of time.

You can add Florida and Georgia to that.

Big 3
If that's the approach you're taking, then it must be noted that State, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt are the only three of the "12 Member SEC" that have NOT won one of the three above events since the '92 expansion. Little 3?

If the Final Four was determined by polls like football titles, we'd be able to claim one of those somehow. Bastards.

CWS finals? Check (only finals dagnabbit!)
Basketball natty? Check x2.
Football natty? Check x3.
Who's in the big 3 again?

The FB SEC championship game kind of stands out on this list.
The real measure since expansion-
Football: 4 national title game appearances, 3 wins
Basketball: 3 national title game appearances, 2 wins
Baseball: 2 CWS finals appearances

Final Four, Baseball National Championship Series, SEC Football Championship Game one of these is not like the other two. I admire your grinding though!

Seriously, why the frick are you still here. You have made it clear to all of us that you are not a fan of baseball. GTFO with your BS.

A for a school that doesn't "care" about baseball Alabama has been in the finals twice since 87. Made it to the elite eight in basketball and of course won 4 titles in football. I will take that over the MSU bridesmaids. WIN something once, then start a brag thread.

The criteria is so intuitive - top 8 in baseball, top 4 in basketball, and top two, but only in the conference, in football.
LMAO.
LMAO.

Top 8 in baseball? What are you talking about
Posted on 6/23/13 at 8:32 pm to Crimson Legend
Actually it's Top 2 in baseball.

Some people refer to the CWS tournament as the "Finals"...I didn't read closely.
Of course, the criteria is still laughably arbitrary, but I was mistaken about "top 8".

Doesn't this measure seem a bit....arbitrary?
Why use two national accomplishments and an SEC accomplishment?
Wonder how many teams have won the SEC Baseball, SEC Basketball and finished ranked in the top 10 in football?
Seems arbitrary. I guess most stats are though.
