As a Georgia fan, this always bugged the shite out of me too. I just wish the dorks who say "big game" would just change it to "national championship game" and say what you really mean and be clear.
Before last January Kirby Smart "couldn't win a big game," despite having some ungodly record against top 10 teams, winning the SECCG and winning the CFP semifinal against Oklahoma.

Brian Kelly couldn't do it at ND! Now with all those top talents at LSU he was able to beat Nick Saban at Alabama. But the real question is will he win the Big Game that is to win a championship.

Fisher couldn't get it done at Texas A&M. So that can still apply to Kelly at LSU. You had plenty of HCs that couldn't get it done at LSU in the past. Kelly might be another one.

What so funny? Kelly couldn't do it at ND. Still have to beat all those schools that have been going back to the playoffs and been project to be back in it. LSU going to make it this year? Kelly has already accomplished more at LSU in one season than Jimbo did at A&M in five.
