I just looked and see UCF was 3-1. How did you come up with 5-2?
Looks like Florida is 6-5.
Am I missing something? (My numbers include 2017, which was a very bad year for Florida.)
I think you should correct your numbers.

Yikes. Someone is misinformed about Florida’s roster, team, and schedule for 2020.
Would love to hear your reasoning as to why your 2020 roster is better?

Florida fan ever conceive of the thought of calling Auburn the #7 team in our game against them this year?
Just STFU with they were ranked "when we played" bullshite and it's not what you said.
The only thing that counts is the ranking at the end of the year.

Feel free to fill in the holes for us.
The roster as a whole is clearly improving.
2016: Three 5-stars, 21 4-stars.
2017: Two 5-stars, 26 4-stars.
2018: Two 5-stars, 33 4-stars.
2019: One 5-star, 38 4-stars.
2020 Class: Four 5-stars, 16 4-stars.
The 2016 team had 24 Blue Chips, our 2020 Class has 20 with the possible addition of Zach Evans.

are those rankings from at the time they played or what they finished?

Your definition of class is confusing. Are you including sophomore and junior transfers in the 2020 class?
How many 4 stars will you have on the roster in 2020?
Who will replace Greenard?
Who will replace Van Jefferson? Swain?Cleveland? Hammond? Perrines 40 catches?
Who will replace Reese III?

Man, yesterday I found out this webpage has Texas fans on it. Now I find out there are fans of a random directional school from Florida?
This must be one of those alters people keep talking about.

I would assume so

Pitts, Copeland, Grimes and Toney all come back at receiver. Lingard (if eligible), Pierce and Davis at running back. If Zach Evans enrolls that would be another option.

Miller, Houston, Hopper and Wingo

These seem like stupid questions.
What is your answer when someone asks:
How will you replace Fromm? Swift? Herrien? Four starting offensive linemen? Cager? Both starting Tight Ends? Your OC? Your Offensive Line Coach?
I mean, Polite left and Greenard was almost as good if not better. Florida has had a very good defensive line for a while.
Pierce is good, Kyle Pitts caught the most passes out of all the names you listed and Copeland has been growing into his spot at receiver, plus, our tight ends cross-train and are surprisingly ahead of schedule.
In the end this is it:
Our 2020 Class had about the same amount of Blue Chips in it as our entire 2016 team, and the amount of Blue Chips has steadily climbed ever since Mullen got here.
There's a myth that he can't recruit, and it's just patently untrue. He's recruited very well from traditional measures to transfers.

Well. That is improvement.

Brenton Cox
I'd like to see that. But Cox isnt a sack artist. And he was a liability against the run. It will be interesting to see what 1 year of Grantham has done for him. Athletic freak. He could be good if he learns to recognize offenses.
quote:

I dont think it always works that way but you are more informed than me on your receivers (if Pitts copeland Grimes and toney replace van jefferson, Swain, cleveland, and hammond... then who replaces Pitts, toney, Copeland and Grimes production?)
quote:
Lingard (if eligible)
That is what you are needing. More of that.
quote:
Pierce and Davis at running back
At a glance, you should miss perrine catching out of the backfield. But maybe Trask is a checkdown charlie who can make any back a big target in the offense.
Uf is not UGA.
But UGA struggled at linebacker in 2018 replacing Roquan Smith. The "by committee" and inexperience was evident in 2018.
UF is not UGA. But UGA struggled replacing the receivers in 2019 from the graduations and early draft entries. 1 dismissal and 3 injuries really put us in a bind at receiver last season. The seniors just werent any good. Some of the juniors were athletes still learning the position. And youth will always struggle at points during the season.
Still, it looks like talent is improving in Gainesville. Probably not as much as talent is improving in Athens. I cant wait for Jacksonville

Well... you had good players last season.
Talent is improving if you are replacing them with better options. No?
quote:
Fromm
Newman has better tools than Fromm. It is to be seen if he can learn and run the offense efficiently. The guess is that he can create plays on his own (something Fromm couldnt do).
quote:
Swift, Herrien
Maybe a bigger question mark than replacing Fromm. Chubb/Michel/Swift are from a special cloth. We have a better high school back in Zamir White. 2 years removed from 2 ACL surgeries is the question. We've got the highly rated recruits (Cook, Milton as well). But as I said, Swift/Michel/Chubb are rare.
quote:
Four starting offensive linemen?
Well, we return Cleveland and Hill. So the 4 starting linemen is blown out of proportion. 5 star junior Jamaree Salyer has started. Xavier Truss and Justin Shaffer have started. And 5 star rsFR Clay Webb will also be fighting for a spot. The demise of our OL has been greatly exaggerated, although backups and depth will be a huge question mark for me (2019, we played 3rd string at LG, C, and RG... 2018, we got down to our 4th string RG).
quote:
Both starting Tight Ends?
We have another grad transfer to replace last years grad transfer and a 5 star tight end stepping in. Do I expect improvement? No. Do I expect the same production if not slightly better with similar talent skillsets? Yes.
quote:
Your OC? Your Offensive Line Coach?
The last OC was fired. Will we be better? It is all conjecture at this point.
quote:
Your Offensive Line Coach?
We may have a recruiting downgrade with a coaching upgrade (if not stalemate). It will be interesting to see if we can run power this season. Except for our bowl game, we didnt have any of those blocking schemes all year.

UCF has never won a game vs
UF
FSU
MIA
UCF is only 5-6 against USF.
I got bored and looked it up. This is NOt Championship material in the least.
It reminds me of MISSOURI.

Bro what rankings are you looking at or what pipe are you smoking? I really couldnt care less about Florida football, but I don't see anything close to this looking at ranking services. I guess you're throwing in all the cast offs where ol' Mullens' weirdness takes a back seat to the kids just wanting somewhere to play. Dude is just a shitty recruiter plain and simple and an overrated game coach as well. Kirby might take this up to MuLLLLLLLLLLen before yall get your next W.

He was comparing the overall team talent composite for the years 2016-2019 vs the recruits we signed for just the 2020 class alone. Next time try and keep up before you start making dumbass insults.

You did not sign 4 5-star recruits in the 2020 class. See you in Jacksonville tough guy.

Talent gap was large.
Now we have actual depth so no excuses.
You also can't blame Mullen for 2016..he wasn't here.
