Tell me again what the past proves.....

That Alabama is 53-25 against LSU

Lol. I remember when he came to Bama LSU fans said he would last three years at the most. You and the rest of the LSU fan base need to get over your hurt and maybe move on with your life

So, 'LSU fans' said this ???? WHAT LSU fans ??? 40-50 LSU fans on a random internet message board? Or the entire one million LSU alumni and fans around the globe ???? You took demographic random samples of allllllll one million alumni and fans ?????????
No one gives a FF about saban. Since he left """""""FIFTEEN YEARS AGO""""""""", LSU has had 14 consecutive winning seasons, gone to 14 consecutive bowl games (winning 9), won 2 SEC titles and 1 National title. And in the 12 meetings between LSU and Saban, though LSU has only won 3 - it is still tied with most victories by any other school vs Saban, and 9 of the 12 games between the two came down to the last few minutes of the game, including 6 in the final seconds and/or OT. So don't flatter yourself.....

And Alabama leads, 56–37–8, having outscored UT 454-147 since 2007.

It's not the 1800s anymore Vols. Get with the times, sit down the "Clemson nut riders" and learn to play pigskin.

Man, that TSIO rivalry is really intense, no wonder y'all are constantly harping on it.

It makes total sense that we let that game decide pretty much all the conference schedules going into infinity...

...Wait, which rivalry are we talking about ITT?

It proves that during Alabama's worst years of my lifetime, 2000-2007 (LSU has won only twice since then), Nick Saban and Les Miles teams at LSU were better.

Which leads me to wonder: since Les Miles won 3 vs Saban, why did LSU fire him? I mean, they haven't won since then.

Although I respect your opinion, I still think the past proves not a damn thing. Every season is a new one.

Not true.

Last season was eight.

This season will be nine.

Some things just don’t change or start anew.

I think Alabama is also the only team to shutout LSU at Tiger stadium multiple times. (10 shutouts). It’s very sad.

Well, I do think that past success makes it easier for teams like Alabama and LSU than teams that haven't had much success, but I do agree about "every season is a new one". Baylor comes to mind as a team that hasn't won much in my lifetime, but had a good run till all the relatively recent trouble.

A better comparison is Arkansas - a team in the division that we have to play even though we've beat the hell out of them for a decade.

So you think the Alabama - Arkansas rivalry is more important than the TSIO.

That's very interesting.

I remember back when some Alabama fans used to think Tennessee was their main rival. How times have changed.

Well I’ll be damned...
You mean to tell me that giving chargers/challengers/cash to kids who grew up poor results in them going to that school?
