Y'all defended a woman beater just so that your football team could get a highly rated recruit. I hope the marginally better seasons with him are worth throwing away your moral fortitude. You are all scum IMO to defend a woman beater just because he was committed to play at your school

Again, please provide said proof where someone, anyone on this board said "we condone the beating of women" or something along those lines. You won't find anything like that.
And if we want to get into morality when it comes to recruiting I guess Ole Miss really is at the forefront when it comes to that. Hookers are just people too right?

No one straight up said they condone it but most of you were coming up with excuses to defend keeping him on the team which is just as bad.

Um that's not what he did and most LSU fans wanted him off the team. He got into a fight where he or someone else involved kicked a guy in the face. Jefferson was suspended 4 or 5 games to start the 2011 season

What about the safety you guys have that likes to stick his finger in guys' asses? You took a receiver that got kicked out of a school for beating up a woman, too. And if State had backed off Simmons, Ole Miss would have been right there with open arms. I think you and everyone else needs to get off the high horse on this one. Nobody condones what Simmons did. But very few know the circumstances around it, either.

Oh yeah, Simmons is definitely a physical specimen, no disputing that at all. He's put on some solid weight since getting to State as well.
