Around the conference, I expect UK to suck again.

As long as Joker is returning, that's about right.

On offense I'm guessing our 9 are

RB Christine Michael
WR Ryan Swope
WR Uzoma Nwachukwu
TE Hutson Prioleau
LT Luke Joeckel
LG Brian Thomas (Possibly transferring)
C Patrick Lewis
RG Cedric Ogbuehi
RT Jake Matthews

Defense (6)

DL Spencer Nealy
DL Eddie Brown
LB Steven Jenkins
LB Damontre Moore
LB Jonathan Stewart
LB Sean Porter

We had a wide variety of players start on both sides of the ball, especially defense, due to injuries and ineffectiveness. Also our offense and defense will look completely different next year as far as scheme goes so

Close. Brian Thomas transferred, so we are down to 8 starters on offense, although Jarvis Harrison did start a couple of games last year at OG.

On defense, Eddie Brown was a senior, we get Mathis back at DT from medical redshirt, Damontre Moore will move to WDE, Stephen Campbell returns at S, and Dustin Harris at CB. Steven Terell and Matthews also started at S for a couple of games each so they could possibly be counted too.

Offense (8):
RB Christine Michael
WR Ryan Swope
WR Uzoma Nwachukwu
TE Hutson Prioleau
LT Luke Joeckel
C Patrick Lewis
RG Cedric Ogbuehi
RT Jake Matthews

Defense (8):
DE Spencer Nealy
DT Jonathon Mathis
LB Steven Jenkins
DE Damontre Moore
LB Jonathan Stewart
LB Sean Porter
S Stephen Campbell
CB Dustin Harris

I still hadn't heard he definitively transferred since Turner went to the Dolphins

I forgot about this. I didn't count Mathis since he didn't play last year. The DBs were rotated so much that I just kind of didn't count them.

Tennessee
QB Jr. Tyler Bray
WR Jr. Da'Rick Rogers
TE Sr. Mychal Rivera
OG Jr. Zach Fulton
OG So. Marcus Jackson
OT Jr. Jawuan James

I count 6 guys offensively who started the UK game who will start vs. NC State. Zach Rogers, Ben Bartholomew, Alex Bullard, and Dallas Thomas all return but they will likely be replaced by Justin Hunter, Cordarrelle Patterson, James Stone, and Tiny Richardson. Tauren Poole graduates.

DE: Jr. Marlon Walls
DE: Jr. Maurice Couch
OLB: Jr. Jacques Smith
MLB: So. AJ Johnson
OLB: So. Curt Maggitt
CB: Jr. Izauea Lanier
FS: So. Brian Randolph

I count 7 on defense who started vs. UK. Darrington Sentimore slides in at DE, Herman Lathers, who started every game in 2010, will play the other MLB position. Brent Brewer returns from injury to replace Rod Wilks at SS and Justin Coleman or Deion Bonner slide in Marsalis Teague's spot. Malik Jackson and Austin Johnson graduate.

So, out of our "20 returning starters", 6 of those will be backups this year.

if LSU doesn't get credit for 4 returning starters at RB alone, it aint legit

ware
hilliard

I know the amount we return on our two deep is pretty staggering although it doesn't show up as much as just pure returning starters. This matters since we rotate so much at every position. Ex: Returning Ware, Ford, Hilliard AND Blue at RB. That only shows up as 1 "returning starter" but IMO that's pretty significant.

I am sure OL Josh Dorocyzsk (or however you spell it) does not count as a starter due to being out all season last yr but he was the planned starter. Being a rare sixth yr senior will be a bonus. Also as you pointed out LSU's marks are high on the two deep chart.

So LSU returns just one more starter than we do yet folks automatically rate them higher than Bama for next year?

And they are relying on a QB that can't beat out JJ or JL....

I know I know...there is good reason why Mett didn't play this year
