Stanford

Stanford has had some good teams over the decades but it is weird. In other news they finally sold out season tickets.

Oklahoma, Florida St and Michigan are nowhere near top 10. Just sad that the blue bloods are down and out.

We won't have a stout defense but it will be good enough. Things out of fall camp are sounding much better than expected. Our defense does get to practice against our offense everyday which could be the best offense they play all year.

Could all be true, but it's fall camp and everyone is undefeated

Yesterday I heard that an OSU freshman was a heisman darkhorse. Kid hasn't played 1 snap yet, but somehow ESPN thinks he should be on a Heisman radar...wtf

Tons of other distractions in the area... but that is still a bit surprising considering it's a small stadium.

Well you have to add in we turned it over rarely,

Except against us. BOTH teams turned it over WAY too much. I prefer to say it was because they were hitting so hard out there...and I honestly believe that was a large part of it. Both teams got up for that game and it was hard fought.

[Manziel will] likely follow the trajectory of other quarterbacks in the Kevin Sumlin/Dana Holgorsen coaching tree (Houston's Case Keenum, Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden, West Virginia's Geno Smith) and improve on his 68.0 percent completion rate.

Forget something?

If Heisman winner Johnny Manziel isn't declared ineligible

It always does....but I look at A&M much the same way as Georgia. High powered offense with a questionable defense. If the defense gells for them they could have a massive season...if not....ugly with a capital "U".

Louisiana Tech 57
Ole Miss 27

We were up 47-0 on SHSU before they scored and up 42-0 on Mizzou before they scored.

Until that game I think we had 5 turnovers total or something like that . It was a nasty game though I agree. I love the passion during the game. No game makes either side more hostile both in terms of fan base and players. True hatred in Jacksonville, it's beautiful.
