Don’t worry, it will be over soon.

Something else that we've been knowing for quite some time. Keep trying.

This has been brewing for LSU football since last year.

LSU's associate AD confirmed last year that the NCAA was investigating football.

Never a good sign to have your AD probed in any sport, because they'll likely find something.

I believe the football investigation is over and has been. The infractions are in the article. The issue seems to be the basketball stuff potentially being merged with football which is what the LSU AD is trying to avoid. And the only thing related to Orgeron in any way is Beckham being an idiot and impermissible contact with a recruit during a dead period.

I would hope you aren’t cheating for Citrus Bowls and NIT losses to Norfolk!

It’s ok, Frank will be gone soon. Maybe Woodward will steal Buzz from aTm.

Sitting by waiting to see where this storm hits and whether or not the outer part of the storm creates problems for us here in BR. These recycled news stories help to pass the time.

>The father of offensive lineman Vadal Alexander received $180,000 in stolen money from LSU booster John Paul Funes, who admitted in 2019 that he embezzled more than half a million dollars from Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. The money was payment from 2012–17 for what the NCAA characterized as a “no-show job,” according to The Advocate.

This was clear money laundering and had no connection to the football program.

Have to throw in some fluff though.

The other "story" of NCAA having documentation that Will Wade paid 11 recruits is a new story for ya.

Stay safe.

Orgeron is fine. I doubt the NCAA are really looking at HIM directly.

The $180,000 holds new light if the NCAA feels that the LSU athletic department encourages this behavior among its staff. While Coach O will be spared, that doesn't mean the football team will be. That said, the NCAA is notoriously fickle in how it decides to punish departments, teams and schools. So who knows honestly.

I remember when Jim Harrick got UGA nailed in the early 2000's.

The entire AD got put on probation and we
cooperated fully with those jackels and even pulled the team out of the SEC tournament and withdrew from NCAA tourney consideration.
