It's simple. There is no way they will allow to teams from the southeast play each other for the National Championship. All things equal it will be west coast verses east coast...and the southeast will win another NC.

But Clemson did something Oregon has not ever done. Remember the LSU Tigers. Oregon sucks and is exposed when they run up against a strong D.

Hey Bison ,this is a born and raised in Baton Rouge LSU TIGEr fan ,I have lived in springfield oregon for 20 years now .I work at the U of O in facilities and have been there 6 years .The SEC fan base has no idea how good these ducks are .but unless the ducks make it to the natty and beat bama they are never gonna get any respect .As a Tiger fan and gump hater please shove it down their throat .wear their arse out and make Nicky Satan cry about spread?hurry up Offense.Go Ducks WTD!!!!!Geaux Tigers

Oregon doesn't have the athletes to compete with the Top SEC schools. Their "2 minute offense" will expose their defense when they aren't taking advantage of missed tackles.

FSU won't jump Oregon if they both win-out, but they'd have a better argument for this season. Oregon gets the nod because of consistent dominance and perception which I'm ok with.
