List is a joke. Look at OSU and their schedule then look again.
We already did this in another thread and you were wrong then.
OSU's schedule is harder than UGAs
Both play Texas at home = push
UGA plays Bama at home. OSU plays PSU at home. PSU is ranked higher in every poll = OSU harder
UGA plays @ Tennessee - hardest road game according to polls. OSU Plays @michigan ranked higher than Tenn = OSU harder
UGA plays at home against Ole Miss. OSU plays @ill which is higher ranked = OSU harder
UGA plays UF in a neutral site = UGA schedule harder

Not to belittle you or your post, but Texas football checks into a hotel in Austin the night before their home games. It's been this way for decades. Don't know how others manage their night before home games, but I imagine similar.

What do you think of WLOCP in Jax., Fl. when UGA's the HOME team?

It’s an away game. The prep, the time to travel, even the meals and schedules are totally different.
From a fan standpoint, it’s 50-50 split in the stadium. That’s not a home game.
UF to Jax.
71 mi.
UGA to Jax.
305 mi.
Thoughts?

Any below 50 on here should not be allowed in the CFB playoffs....make teams actually challenge themselves in the regular season

He didn't call it an away game. He said it was a game played away from home, Which it is. Georgia versus Florida isn't a road game. But it's not a home game, either.
I consider 1 hour down the road a Home game for Fl..

Okay. But even when Georgia is designated the home team, surely you don't consider it a home game for the Bulldogs.
Dallas is about 3 hours from Austin and from Norman. The players for both sides stay in a hotel in Dallas the night before. It's not a true road game, but it's certainly not a home game, either.

Hince the argument AGAINST ALL pre-season polls.

It is just a label in our game
The stadium is 50/50 so do not think it should ever be called a home game for either..neutral site

You leave out half the schedule?

At least with yours, it's basically 1/2 way for BOTH teams.
Personally, I've never considered Jax. as anything but a HOME game for Fl.. (I don't care if UGA has to fly)...distance from the school stadiums is too skewed.
It's like the high school association here in Ga. that has the title games in Atlanta each year forcing the Southern schools to travel the day/days before the game (INCLUDING when that game is between 2 Southern teams). It USED to be held on the school's home field, but decided to go with this format.

Do both teams leave their campus and stay in a hotel the night before?
Do they both get to Jax the same day?
Do both teams get a 50-50 split?
It’s a neutral game site.
So UF doesn’t have to travel as far and Georgia has to fly whereas Florida probably drives. They both get there in about the same amount of time. If not, Georgia gets there in about 4 hours longer.
But my point remains the same. Both teams aren’t staying in their own beds/dorms the night before. Both teams don’t have access to the same facilities and amenities they would have if it was a home game at their own stadium. Neither teams aren’t subject to a crappy away team locker room like it is at other college stadiums.
I was originally referring to OU-TX game and how it’s an away game for both teams no matter who is considered “home” that year.
And if we want to compare the distances to the neutral stadium from the respective campuses… the Cotton Bowl is about 191mi to OU and about 196 mi to Texas with a 50-50 stadium split.

Their win total is only 9.5 so even Vegas thinks they lose 3
Texas over 9.5 is listed as -200, so Vegas thinks they will win 10+.

I would be under the impression Fl. has the same advantages (sleeping in the own beds, using their home stadium, etc.) like they would if the game were played in Gainesville.
Now, do the teams alternate locker rooms...no clue.
I know Ga. travels day(s) before. Florida would just drive up the morning of.
I would consider a 196-191 mi. travel more neutral than 1 team travelling 4.3X as far than their opponents.

Right. But we're missing the point here. The OU-Texas game is not a true road game, but it's certainly not a home game, either. I ruffled your feathers by referring to the Georgia Florida game as similar, but that wasn't my intent.

The SEC title game is in Georgia. When you play in it do you complain for the other team or stop b*tching? It is 50-50. Not seeing how you can call the "WLOCP" an advantage if the SEC title game is not.
