People who think that firing Miles would be completely crazy have clearly not seen how inept LSU's offense has been since Jimbo Fisher left (save for Mett's year). Hell! The offense even looked bad under Jimbo at points.
LSU's horrible offensive gameplanning hasn't burned LSU too badly because of an exceptional defense and superior talent, but the SEC West has more talented coaches and players than ever before. Can't grind it out against these teams. They will grind you.

Ya know what, you're right. Miles should ship his ring over to Saban. He doesn't deserve it.

Hell no. We got beat by a good Miss St. team Sat night. Nothing to be ashamed of IMO. Good luck to State the rest of the way. They could possibly pull some upsets and make it to Atlanta this year.
We are young and this is a rebuilding year. We will be ok. No one expected to win the SEC this year. At least anyone with real expectations.

LSU is not firing Miles so can we just stop with these threads? Will they fire him? Who will replace him? etc He is going no where and shouldn't. The guy is due some time to build this young team up....for god sakes he had 22 early exits from this team in the last two years. Any coach would be having a much harder time than Miles to try and find replacements....he will get us back on track. He always does. So, stop thinking he is going anywhere. The negatigers come out in droves when I loss like this happens....don't take it as everyone's point of few that he should go just because the ticked off Tiger fans are rearing their ugly heads this week.

Are people even talking about that??? Ridiculous. Hell of a coach...I'd be proud to have him as Auburn's coach.
Unfortunately it takes only 1 loss and/or poor performance for the zanies to start screaming for Leslie's hide. Is he the best all-around coach in college football? Not in my opinion but he's surely in the top ten. Winningest coach in the league during his tenure for goodness sakes. How anyone could expect more from a team playing 30 freshmen is beyond me. Disappointed in the mistakes the other night? Hell yes. Missed tackles and blown assignments are correctable and the expectation here is they will be, along with the coaching scheme mistakes as well. MSU is an excellent team and have one of the top ten QB's in America along with great, veteran talent. I was proud of the Tigers for showing the grit to come back in the game, with mostly freshmen shining brightly down the stretch. And Les is the primary reason those fine freshmen are in BR.

Congratulations on the win. Dak played a hell of a game and I would have been proud to have him be a Tiger. With that being said...

No, he has a $15 million buyout.

Yes and Saban's first two rings belong to Dinardo and Shula.

I have multiple LSU friends of mine that say they've heard he could be on the chopping block. I asked because I thought it was an absurd idea. No need for the hostility

No they should not. It should not even be part of LSU's conversation right now.
Anybody talking about that has been wanting him gone for a long time and trying to grind an axe.
Great talent and will have another top class. They are just young.

LSU offense looked bad under saban. Les owns 3 of the most prolific offenses in LSU history. and never was as bad as sabans 2002 team offensively. What did saban have in 2002? bad qb play, same as 2004.

Nobody would argue that Saban has made great strides in this department. His philosophy used to be "the offense better not put my defense in a bad spot." Not to mention that Saban was never at LSU to experience the benefits his success had on recruiting.

I was just pointing out it looked bad under saban and fisher too. It's not exclusive to Les Miles. Maybe its just not as easy to win at LSU as some people think and id say that would be evidence in 4 coaches that coached between mac and saban.
Saban had a team littered with talent, LSU had nfl hof players before he got there. Saban was never staying at LSU so i dont think thats the fault of the coach we hired after him. Plus i think he did see the fruits of success, that 2001 class is what got us there in 2003. I just think too much credit is given to him for Les' success. UF is arguably more talented than LSU when Muschamp took over yet he is struggling. With the same logic people use on LSU, then any coach should be winning at UF, yet they struggled under zook and now muschamp.
