Yes... but.

The real out of left field upset would have been last week when Arkansas showed surprising signs of life in the first quarter and a half of football. We didn't have LSU on the ropes but it had the feeling of one of those Troy games where LSU never gets on track.

Only LSU got on track and won going away this time. Credit Coach O and his staff for making sure of that.

With A&M I think its partly personal this time around. Barring a complete collapse I just don't see LSU coming out flat for this game like they did against us.

The reason for concern, and it is a legit reason, is that Coach O seems to be overly fond of taking his foot off the gas once he has a good lead. He has done it against Arkansas two years in a row. He did it against Alabama.

Partly it is because he's defensive oriented and with a good lead he wants to kill the clock and not risk getting someone injured he will need later in the season. Partly, despite his gruff demeanor, I think Coach O really dislikes running the score up on other teams. He took some horrible beatings as head coach of Ole Miss and he's not eager to put someone else through that.

Your offense isn’t talented enough to score 77 on A&M’s defense, and that shitty LSU defense isn’t talented enough to shut out anyone. Y’all give up 50 a game. You’re not a championship caliber team.

Well, we didn't score 77 thanks to pulling the starters in the 4th and the A$M desperation fake punt, but holy shite our defense destroyed you.

Possibly yes-because from this point on, LSU's best chance to will their remaining games is to outscore their opponents because their defense isn't going to be capable of stopping anyone they face from here on out!!

NOSTRADAMUS?!?!

lsu is on "upset alert" every freaking week. if you think i'm exaggerating, then you don't pay attention to the first sec rant page early in the week. every game against an unranked team has been a trap game according to the rant.

I'm reading this while watching a replay fo the Ga vs GaTech game. To be honest, NO. Ya'll will fall unceremoniously from the top 4 after a loss in the SEC CG, and we'll have to listen to an off season of Ga fans saying "it ain't fair, there should be an eight team playoff.

Any close game can go either way. The Records, the resume, and analytics and Vegas say LSU. But that is why you play the game. Virtual home game for UGA.

If I was a UGA fan I would be very concerned by the 50 to 7 TAM score and the 36 to 16 from last year. LSU is much better than last year.

The eye test has Georgia not as good as last year.
