With Mullen out, should Florida bring back the old ball coach for one last game?

Let him fully retire from coaching as a Gator?

Seems like it'd be the right thing to do.

I'd love it. The network would love it. FSU would hate it. The fans would get back on board for a few minutes to be engaged and excited for a new coaching search. Maybe more than 10 fans will show up at the tarmac this time after the new hire arrives

Barry Alvarez did it twice at Wisconsin. Why not?

It would be worth it just for the press conferences. You know he would break out the Free Shoes University line again.

That would be so epic. The old ball coach comes out of the Janitor's Closet and puts a whipping on Florida State for old-time sakes.

Steve needs to move his shite out of the complex and allow the to be named coach to setup shop without Steve being part of the deal.

Spurrier only won 5 out of 14 games (36%) versus FSU during his tenure as head coach at UF lol

Lol. That’s true but… Florida and FSU were 2 of the most dominant programs in the 90’s.

They were both top 10 every year and probably 80% of the time they were both in the top 5!! Neither one was a push over.

Why would Spurs want to be associated with this season

Why not? He could simply let the coordinators do the job and they will beat FSU simply because FSU is that bad.

And we could all enjoy the fact that there would be several visors tossed during that debacle. How amazing would that be!

That would be pretty cool to see. Let spurrier coach the last game and possible bowl game.
