Fact. Sorry you are mad that Bama has the greatest dynasty in college football history. Just accept it

And one could just as easily argue that Bama would have been the champions under the old system in 2014, 2016, and 2018
Why ? What were the teams they lost to that year in the CFP and what were they ranked?

All of them were the lower seed and would not have been bama's Sugar Bowl opponent. In 2018 it would have been Notre Dame in Nola which would have gone hilariously

The easiest way to figure out if it’s a dynasty is to imagine your team on the same run. Would you consider them to be a dynasty?

Yes they are. Since the 1920's.

10 win seasons?
Ps. You have to play in the National championship game to lose it.
No one wins them all but Bama has come closer than anyone since the Saban era.

You mean it isn't? It's the only one in college football.

Once all their wins are vacated for paying players, there will have been no dynasty.

Maybe an SEC dynasty but not NCAA. Dabo knows how to beat Saban. It will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

The 2&2 record vs Clemson the last 4 years also indicate Saban knows how to beat Dabo as well. In fact, one of Clemson's victories was scored with zero time on the clock.
2016 - UA
2017- Clemson
2018- UA
2019- Clemson
hmm, I'm seeing a trend here.
2020- UA
anyway, your silly trash talk aside, 5 of 10 national titles is unprecedented. If Alabama fails the next 2 years to win a national title, one could surmise it may be over.

What if you won 8 out of 10? Would that be the new standard for dynasties? What if you only won 3 out of 10? Would that be the standard? Please tell me, mighty Alabama fan.

I wonder when LSU truly realized they were frickked that night? End of the 1st quarter?

3 of 10 is a good run but no dynasty in my opinion.

I dare say LSU, UGA, Auburn, and maybe another SEC team or two would be in the same neighborhood if they played in the powderpuff league known as the ACC. FSU and a distant second Louisville were their only tough opponents and they’ve both collapsed. It’s pretty easy to get there if you play 11 or 12 tune ups before the playoffs.
