You are a damn liar. No players charged with rape or domestic abuse have been allowed to remain on the team. They are gone before the sun rises. And this isn’t always fair as a couple of ladies have later admitted that they made their stories up because they were mad at the player. I think one actually faced charges for this.
Tennessee is very creative in handling their violence issues. Those, investigations could bear investigations themselves. It’s hard to know which school is more corrupt. UTk or AU. When it comes to serious misbehaving you two are elite.

I recently got to my car with my shopping cart at the grocery store and noticed a bottle of wine in the cart that I hadn't scanned. I wasn't arrested, but I returned to the store, explained what happened and paid for the wine. The clerk overseeing the self-checkout area thanked me. End of story.
In this case, I wonder why those players put the items in bags if they hadn't scanned them.

Besides the beep when you scan your items - there is a big screen above the scanner that lists the items and their prices as you scan them.
So, there are multiple ways to easily see that an item didn’t scan properly. They knew.
I worked in retail loss prevention 25 years ago - people will steal anything - even napkins and air fresheners.

The OP was talking about how "ESPN won't cover this part of the story" as if not covering it is exactly what the big national outlets will do when they don't have the energy or interest to interrogate these sorts of things further. The reason given for not pressing charges doesn't stand up to any measure of scrutiny. Only a dullard or someone vested in there not being charges would credulously accept this reasoning.
What happened is the local GM for that Walmart, the players/UGA, and Athens PD came to some sort of compromise because none of the stolen items were of consequential value and they were likely returned to the store intact or paid after the fact. I doubt the average 18-22 year old caught doing that would get that sweetheart deal but life ain't fair and some people have greater utility than others. Those 18-22 year olds can help win natties.

Can you name which school has been under Federal Investigation for the administration and coaching staff covering up rapes and sexual assaults?
And they are under Federal Investigation once more:
The U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights sent letters to 60 universities saying they are under investigation for potential "antisemitic harassment and discrimination," including the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
I am beginning to think somebody at Tennessee is in love with one of the Federal Investigators and just wants to keep them on campus all the time.

He likes to talk about "without repercussions" when it comes to speeding and (I guess) shoplifting, but he ignores what happened at the University of Tennessee when their athletes were literally ignored for rapes and sexual assaults.
The complaint also noted that in four cases, the university dragged out the disciplinary processes for so long, the athletes got to graduate or transfer to other schools. This gives rise to the plaintiffs’ Title IX gender discrimination claims.
And now, for antisemitic behavior to their students. Tennessee is rotten through and through.
The U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights sent letters to 60 universities saying they are under investigation for potential "antisemitic harassment and discrimination," including the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
The letters sent from the Department of Education warn the institutions of "potential enforcement actions" if campus leaders don't protect Jewish students, citing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The letters follow President Donald Trump's executive order on antisemitism signed Jan. 29, and the appointment of Secretary of Education Linda McMahon on March 3.
Smokeyone loves to wag his finger at everybody except his own school, and it is one of the most rotten schools when protecting women's and minority rights in the SEC, apparently. At least there is a strong history in the past and is still ongoing today.

Better question...what is Tennessee's? You are currently in your second Federal Investigation for moral issues in the last 10 years.
Read that slowly. Two in ten years. It's actually shocking.
Let me know when the Feds show up at Georgia, will you?
Rape, sexual assaults, antisemitism and your administration continues to throw dirt on it trying to cover it up.
ETA
I am trying not to bring up the blatant cheating that your coaching staff engages in with McDonald's bags, etc.

Rara Thomas caught his second domestic violence charge at UGA before being dismissed.
Adam Anderson has a rape accusation on a Wednesday and was a captain for the game vs Florida the following Saturday. He is likely still in prison following his conviction. UGA also allowed him access to UGA facilities while he had a restraining order against him prohibiting him from being at UGA. They even went as far as to work with his agent to help facilitate the use of a highschool facility for a private workout for NFL teams before his trial.
Do you have the same fire about UGAs actions that you showed me before being reminded of them?

I like how he said “charged” and you said “ accused” and you kept going to make it seem like you made a valid point by conflating the two

I am guessing you don't want to discuss the two Federal Investigations your school has been under the past ten years?
The ones for rapes, sexual battery, antisemitism, covering up said charges by your coaches, players and school administrators?
You are outraged when Adam Anderson played a game two days after an accusation was made, in spite of the coaches not having time to investigate the accusations, while your school, coaches and team tried to cover up multiple cases of the same thing one of our players was accused of?
How about Ruby Whitehorn? care to discuss her?
We can dig up plenty of other examples, but we have discussed these ad nauseum. However, we can go through them all again, since you like to dig up stuff that happened two, three or four years ago.
Wow. not one, but TWO Federal Investigations. The Feds need to open a satellite office on the Tennessee campus to save some time and travel expenses.

Smokey never likes to discuss any negative wrongdoing by his school. But he gets a woody when he reads about legal issues cropping up with UGA. Its a truely bizaare obsession.
