re: Sheridan on PF at 5:30 to update Cam Story

No offense to Auburn fans, but you guys sang a COMPLETELY different tune when "Tennstud" was doing the same thing during the Logan Young/Means case that Sheridan is doing right now. Why was an old fata## cheating drunk hot tubbing UT booster the epitome of credibility and truth in the Means case while Sheridan who is highly respected in the media world an uncredible source? Speaking of Logan Young and Means, the Cam situation is identical. The only difference is that the Feds haven`t decided that selling Cam Newton was a crime as opposed to the "crime"(sarcasm) of Logan Young selling Means. In other words, rival/Tennesee boosters conveniently thought Logan Young broke a federal crime (how fricking convenient.... ) in the Means case but the Cam case hasn`t involved a federal crime to this point. Based on the Logan Young RICO case, the feds could EASILY bring a RICO case Against the players in the Cam situation

I know this is going to sound crazy but I really don't think we paid him. I know what happened at State and while complicit I don't think it was Cecil's idea. From Bond, Bell, Rogers and Cecil we know they didn't ask for money until late Nov on his OV. When they said no it scared Newton and he went looking for other options. Auburn was close and with Tyrik Rollison flunking out we had a need for a qb. If we would have given him that much money there would be some kind of smoking gun in the form of a large purchase sometime between Jan of 2010 and Nov 2010 when the story broke. Every newspaper guy in the country knows this and has looked and there is no smoking gun and by no smoking gun I mean his church too. In the Reggie Bush case right off the bat when the story broke there was the house. The who, what and where all got filled in after. Where is the house or it's equal in this case?

I've said all along, regardless of whether or not he was paid, no one wants the NCAA sniffing around in programs. I think college athletics is just inherently dirty, and anytime someone is looking, in any program, they can find something. Whether or not they actually decide to do anything about it is another matter.

I think they should bring the dorms back! Let's start a movement! It just sucks to have to find little leeway in stories, like why Cam wasn't paid, or why it isn't that weird that a creepy man who sells memorabilia is eating dinner with TR.
