For any other ATPBers around I will say this once. The FBI had been investigating agents of questionable character and their association with amateur athletes. Kenny Rogers is/was an agent of questionable character associating himself with amateur athletes. The FBI interviewed Bond and asked him about Kenny Rogers. John Bond doesn't know and has said he knows absolutely nothing about Cam Newtons recruitment by Auburn. The answer to why they interviewed Bond is obvious but believe what you want.

well if the former player hasn't been associated with the university since he played there and he is representing the player and not the university, why should we get in trouble? No one associated with the university has done anything wrong, as far as Rogers goes.

I agree with everything you said and have no idea why some Auburn fans want to spin MSU's involvement into something that it wasn't. Rogers and Cecil tried to get money from Bond and Bell and were unsuccesful. Bond and Bell did the right thing and turned over everything they knew to the AD. Not only is this what I believe it is also the best possible scenario for Auburn because if they actually offered money then then that makes the claim that Auburn didn't pay him anything pretty hard to believe.

Not quite. It is still being investigated.

I will deal with the fact that to this point, again to this point, information confirming that pay for play occurred at AU has not been released to the general public. Can you deal with the fact that they are continuing to look?

I agree 100% - Cam Newton wasn't paid by anybody.

Was Cecil?

that's correct, Captain Obvious.

Well, if people would get it right, Captain Obvious wouldn't have to hit the scene, now would he?

Insinuating that it exist and is possessed by someone.

This thread has turned into a ATPB thred for those not brazen enough to label themselves ATPBers.

Hell, I'll rephrase it for you. An accusation against an Auburn player/parent was leveled. It was investigated. At this point, nothing has be released to the general public that would confirm or refute the accusation. It is still being investigated.

It's already hard to believe for everyone except Auburn fans.

So what you're telling us that MSU offering money which the Newtons TURNED DOWN is a worse scenario for Auburn than Cecil shopping Cam to MSU, MSU saying no, and then Cam enrolling at Auburn? That's some pretty funny logic (or lack thereof).

Jesus you can't be this stupid. Read the shite again and get back to me.

ETA get your dictionary out and look up the meaning of each word in this sentence.

You're telling the wrong people. You need to get in contact with Jackie Thurnes at her Montgomery hotel and tell her. I'm sure that she will be happy to know that she can pack up and go home now.

Quoting Julie Roe Lach: "Luke said that he will let us know when it's over. And it's over now."

OK...so I misread the first part of your post.

And by the way...Jesus, you can't be so utterly f**king retarded as to think that Cecil asked one school for $180,000 and then took him to Auburn for free. Only Auburn fans are actually big enough fools to actually believe that.
