I am willing to bet that many successful coaches and CEO have a fair amount of narcissism in their makeup.
As for him attending, I can't see the big deal. He built the team (and program). Gave it an identity. Is pulling for kids he recruited. It's also no big deal that he wanted to coach them through the playoffs.
Just admit that you're bitter. Also, you should kiss his arse for allowing his offensive team to coach them through the playoffs. After all, Carter's reasons for not allowing him to coach was poaching players and using it as a promotional gem for his new gig, yet the assistants on loan could do the same thing.
