Just what in the frickin wide world of sports does Geno Smith have to do with how we are going to handle Alabama on 11/5?

thanks for being honest. looks like your problem now is knowledge. we have a better chance of shutting TR down than you do of shutting RR down. however, your real error is in thinking that if you do shut RR down that our passing game goes to zero. we have other capable WR's, more than you do and we have TE's and RB's that can catch. if you double team RR, i'm looking for shepard and beckham to eat your lunch.

Take away LSU's deep threat and JLee is in big trouble IMO.

you can't be serious. Lee goes deep maybe 3 times a game....at the most

you are a fricking idiot. I guarantee you haven't watched one LSU game this year. I'm not even going to justify this thread with any stats or an argument. I'm just going to call you a typical redneck who doesn't know shite except "yeeehaww AL-UH-BAM-UH IS SO AWESOME PAWL!"

Here's a "moment of clarity" for us all:

We all like to talk smack and tell each other how our boys are gonna whup yours, but the truth is- simply put- none of us know what's going to happen.

Neither team has faced anything REMOTELY CLOSE to what they will be facing on Nov. 5th- with all due respect to Oregon, WVU, Penn State, and Arkansas, who all have very good football teams.

I suppose the short answer to your question is- yes, LSU could still beat you. Points off turnovers, special teams, and yes- the passing game. LSU is hardly a one-dimensional scoring threat. Of course- the Tigers would much rather establish balance if they can....

It could easily also go Bama's way.

There just aren't many weaknesses on either side that can be exposed.

May the best team that day win. None of us can wait for that day to arrive- but we'll have to.

Here's to a good game.

Cover RR and we throw to Beckham and Shepard and then hit our TE's Peterson and Clements. to many weapons to stop us. on the other hand we put 8 in the box you stop TR and now you have to throw. LSU win's 31-17

Obviously...yes you can win, but the title is for arguments sake ok.

We are the only team in the country that can stop LSU's running game with 7 in the box, 2 deep look. We are big and physical. LSU has thrived on establishing the run and going deep to Randle, but in all honesty, thats the only passing game you really have. Nobody has been able to stop the run, and nobody has been able to stop Randle deep yet.

We will stop the run, if we stop Randle deep I think LSU could be in for a long day offensively due to the lack of passing game you have.

if trent richardson doesn't get a 100 yards rushing, can bama win?

see, it works both ways.

if r.r. is beating teams deep, it means that team isn't stopping the run. therefore, they are putting more in the box leaving him 1 on 1 for the deep ball.

since bama already has the run stopped, i guess he will not beat you deep.

Your passing game revolves around playaction and running the ball first. It has opened up everything for you this year. If you cannot run as effective and Lee is forced to become a pocket passer this year for the first true time, what'll happen?

And what you are missing in ALL of this is that our QB's have been through the fire......have faced tough D's....AJM has not

It will be the difference.........make the young QB throw and pressure the HELL out of him....stop the dink passes...and contain TR

Our offense will surprise you

Some of you Tide fans who think you're as good as the Packers amaze me.
