If your best friend, or close family member, or your best employee that is making big bucks for you....

If you were informed that they sexually harassed, assaulted, or even raped someone

Would you inform the proper authorities...

Whoever the proper authorities are

What if they were embezzling money?

What if they were cheating and illegally paying players?

What would you do?

Serious question

That would depend on what kind of information I received. Hearsay? None of my business. 100% proof? Definitely authorities.

Yes, I’d report them to the proper authorities. For highly illegal and/or abusive behavior, failure to report and stop it makes you morally complicit.

Pro Tip: while telling the truth can be expensive, peace of mind is priceless.

Would you look at that? My best friend is getting a sweetheart plea deal because the Judge can tell he's being sincere.

I’d arse rape them while I was getting my money back. I’d video tape it while on zoom. Then I’d 3 way a FaceTime while talking to TMZ and the FBI.

I’m sure I’d do more but that’s a start.

You should report it to your supervisor ASAP.

I appreciate you taking this seriously.

I should have added....

What if it was your spouse?

What if it was your son or daughter?

What if it was your mother or father?

I’m not sure.

That’s why I asked.

I was hoping for a serious open discussion.

This is the only ethical answer.

A more intriguing question might be, if a law enforcement agency/governing body was investigating alleged behavior, and you had hearsay evidence that it had occurred, would you tell them?

That might be dependent upon your a)trust in the source of the hearsay evidence and 2)trust in the motive of the law enforcement agency/governing body doing the investigating.

Serious answer. I'd report it to the appropriate authorities; e.g., compliance, Title-IX, and police too if a crime has been alledged. They're hired, trained and obligated to investigate it.

I understand what you’re saying, but I’m asking a broader question.

Would you report your son or daughter?

What if you knew your HC/program were paying players.....

Would you report that to the proper authorities?
