BYU cared.
Why is it that winners care while losers don't? I'm not even talking about the athletes because I know they do for the most part but fans can be shitty. Quitting on their team all the while announcing their team quit when they didn't.

These days? None.

I don’t think LSU fielded a team that year. They started playing football in year 2000 and then the entire program opted out of 2020.

I mean once you realized you made a horrible mistake by going to a school that isnt as good as Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State I would pack it in too
You tossed your life away for a loser program

Not downvoted by me. I didn't know this and it is pretty badass.
Viceman: Never would expect you to downvote a post like this, I have gone on the record many, many times you and posters like Summer of George are A+ posters and people in my book. Somehow if we were ever at a ball game together I could sit down and have a burger and beer with both of you, pre LSU/Bama game and post game which has been in the case of LSU since Saban there, a 4-11 W/L record in favor of Bama.
I was responding to the idiotic post by an Alabama fan who lives in Louisiana who made idiotic remarks about LSU football in 1945, WW2 did not end until the Surrender of Japan on 2 September 1945 and if LSU had a team or not or did not begin playing till 2000.
So given the War years were brought up not by me, I thought I would provide the historical facts about LSU's role in WW2 which dwarfs save West Point, Naval Academy and Texas A&M, all other Universities in this Country.

I’m driving 8 hours to Houston to watch the Hogs. I care.

UCF looked to have played up to their National Championship status.

Ah, the LSU excuse.

Just the ones whose fanbases are trying to make postmortem excuses.

Disinterested. That's the new code word to use when your team gets exposed, I guess.

I think the only who really care are the four at the top.

They care for different reasons.
