Items of note from the midweek OOC game in Austin:
1. The horns set an attendance record watching a nice win for the Ags.
2. The Ags did in 1 game what LLLSU couldn't do in 3.
3. A&M got a nice RPI bump with a quality road win.

They were explaining it yesterday in the broadcast. A Navy SEAL trainer worked with the A&M baseball team in the offseason and gave that paddle to them as a gift.
The paddle is given to the player who hit the most recent home run.
That inning, Ducoff tied the game with a solo shot, then Hoehner hit a 2-run home run - resulting in Ducoff passing the paddle to Hoehner.
It's symbolically a "whipping stick" prop.
