This ump is horrible. Reed has to throw it over the middle of the plate to be called a strike.
Then Henderson says frick you ump Imma get this guy out. Great play by Hendo!

I'd rather not ask over on the Rant, but does anyone know why Gausman didn't pitch today and why LSU is pitching ~7 million pitchers?

if lsu is going to get a run it will likely be in this inning. probably not in the 9th. just based on where we are in the lineup. if state has a closer i'd pitch him in this inning.

Never seen so many called strikes at or below the knees and balls that are right on the corner of the plate. It virtually has to be anywhere in the middle of the plate (high or low) to be called a strike.

LSU will probably give up 6 runs in the 9th, but Mainieri can't be upset with how this game has gone. Miss State is playing well. They have the SEC POY on the mound. You throw the bullpen and its 3-2 in the 8th.
