I personally like athletes that "play rough" on the field. Very few, however, know how to do that on the field and no be like that off the field as I think you were alluding to.
With that said, at a Carolina football game a couple of years ago there was an ad for basketball season tix on the video board with Carrera up there. Carrera happened to be at that game and was sitting under the video board (the camera found him) and he had a hot girl to his left, right, and in front of him.
I sat there and thought "damn.. the guy is looking up at a giant ad of himself in front of 80,000 people with hot college girls on all sides. I need to get in his circle"
I have seen him in 5 points too, it was half the team actually.. they just seemed to awkwardly hang out together in the corner.

The only organized football I ever played was C-team 8th grade in Middle School. I can't imagine ever being anything worth a shite if I had continued in high school but in hindsight I sure as hell wish I had tried.
