Cannot wait for Latt to get back on the field. Guy is focused, and I expect a HUGE year for him this year.

Edward Aschoff spent so much time with this article that when you click on "Justin Hunter", it takes you to an Alcorn State player and the "Jarvis Jones" link refers to an Oklahoma player.

Replace Knile with Lattimore and it's an OK list. Might move the honey badger down a little bit because he isn't really "scary". That's like calling Joe Adams "scary".

Also Cobi Hamilton should be mentioned if there is going to be a WR on the list.

1 - You didn't kick to him. 2 - You had your heisman finalist running back stay in to block when he came on blitz. 3 - You took advantage of a height difference in coverage when you could isolate. 4 - When you ran to his side, Lacy got blown up for a loss on 3rd down runs.

1 - We didn't punt much, sorry, guess we should have told our offense not to push your defense around all night so the Honey Badger could get a few touches on punt returns.

2 - Our Heisman finalist is a complete RB, which means blocking and catching passes as well as running the rock. BTW, he blew up TM whenever he blitzed, so looks like he's pretty good at blocking doesn't it.

3 - Isolating the weakest player in coverage is part of good offensive planning. Did we not have a weak corner to exploit? Or was your offensive planning just poor? Pick one, because there's no third answer.

4 - Guess that's why we only scored six times. One would have been enough.

Yes. Check out any film break down. We were open. JJ, our O-line and your D-line/blitzers prevented completions.

It's going to be sweet having the two best WRs in the SEC next year.

Hopefully they can lead us to the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

I know Hunter only caught 1 pass in SEC play last year before being injured, so I pulled up his 2010 stats, which aren't bad...not at all. I just don't see how he makes the list. I'm not saying Eric is wrong, but look at his 2010 stats.
LINK
His best games were against Georgia (4 receptions), Florida (3 receptions), and Ole Miss (3). Other than those 2, what am I missing? Is it because that was his first year?

Davis had more yardage and better ypg against better defenses 2 years ago. If he is even 90% where he was then this coming season then he is going to absolutely be better than Lattimore.

I think he's laughing with us. Lattimore is good though.

I don't see him on the list though. Do you? Has he gotten any heisman hype? Lattimore is the better athlete of the two. Telling yourself different is foolish.

Lattimore > Davis and that isn't really a hard conclusion to come to

He was actually on the Heisman preseason watch list before last season but obviously got injured so didn't play. He didn't come on until the second half of 2010 or else he absolutely would have been in Heisman talks.

The last 7 games for Knile, three of which were ranked SEC teams and one coming to one of the top defenses in the nation in Ohio State:

1028 yards
6.425 ypc
12 td

If he averaged this for the entire season:

1900 yards
22 td

Compared to Darren's Heisman runner-up years:

2006
1647 yards
5.8 ypc
14 td

2007
1830 yards
5.6 ypc
16 td

MY LIST:

1) AJ MCCarron. Dude has unlimited upside and could be the next Joe Montana. Dump passes and 7 yard TE screens are nearly unstoppable. Expect big things from this young man. 2013 Heisman?

2)Eddy Lacy. Mark Ingram > Trent Richardson > .....Eddy Lacy. That's right ladies and gentleman. Your next Alabama RB Heisman right here. Will be trucking everybody. Guaranteed.

3) Brad Smelley. Let's call him 'The White Jimmy Graham'. Same God given athletic abilities. Speed. Hops. Height. Hands. Kids got it all. in the BCS championship game was his coming out party. You'll be seeing a ton of 8 yard gains from this kid in 2012.

4) C.J. Mosley. Dante Hightower. Courtney Upshaw. LULZ. This kid will make you forget those names permanently. Mosley will be in the backfield faster than Alabama can claim another mysterious championship to their championship total.

5) Nick Saban. Well he is the God of College Football is he not? What list would be complete without Nick Saban? He's got his own statue and the man himself is as intimadating as they come. 5'3'. 145 lbs of sheer brilliance and evil.

2013 National Champions. Repeat. Roll Tide Roll.

Knile will more than likely be playing in 2012.

Knile Davis is good, but Lattimore is definitely the better RB. You can say all you want about who you played against, but Lattimore put up good numbers against very good Ds too. He also did it with an OL that wasn't nearly as good as Arky's.

And there's a pretty good reason why he made the list and Knile didn't...
