TOP COMMUNITY COMMENTS OF THE WEEK

What do you expect from your team in 2021?

The Analytical Comments

Mississippi State Poster
quote:

I expect the offense to take a great leap forward. Walley and company will be a solid receiving corps. Marks and Johnson will be a solid one two punch at running back. Defense will still be solid with a great concept and coach in Arnett. Special teams will be one of the best in the country.

Arkansas Poster
quote:

The Hogs are an unknown, they are talented on 1st team but have no depth. This will hurt them against the better teams. However, I think they'll sneak up on someone that they shouldn't and end up with a better record than most would have predicted.

The Funny Comments

Auburn Poster
quote:

To make the haters who are crossing their fingers that Auburn will suck cry, bc we won't suck

Ole Miss Poster
quote:

Major asswhippings (both giving and receiving)

POWER RANKINGS VOTER COMMENTS
*Any team not listed had no PR voter submit their rankings

What do you expect from your team in 2021?

Alabama
quote:

Alabama repeats as National Champions.

Arkansas
quote:

All comes down the the QB position. If KJ Jefferson can prove to be an above average QB by SEC standards, the ceiling if fairly high considering most of the other positions groups should be solid. If he struggles, the floor is towards the bottom of the league.

quote:

Horrible Calls from the refs

quote:

19 starters return. More wins than losses is a good start.

Auburn
quote:

As an Auburn fan, I keep my expectations low and am pleasantly surprised every few years.

Florida
quote:

I don't expect much from Florida in 2021. They have a new QB, the defense sucks and will continue to suck, and they draw LSU (who I think will be much improved) and Alabama from the West. This looks like an 8 or 9 win team to me. Even if the QB play is better than expected this defense will sink them against good teams just like last year - although I could see them scratching up to a 10 win season if things go right.

quote:

Just don't get hurt. Show some promise on defense.

Georgia
quote:

Win the East for sure and we SHOULD win the SEC

Missouri
quote:

Take another step forward

Ole Miss
quote:

Ole Miss won four of their last five games in 2020, and played their most complete game of the year in the Outback Bowl vs. Indiana. Look for Kiffin and co. to capitalize on that win, raise the intensity on offense, and make the defense a more cohesive unit. Ole Miss wins 7-8 games in 2021.

Texas A&M
quote:

To hopefully play competitively vs Bama

quote:

The fightin Texas Aggies look to build on a strong yet unsatisfying 2020 after being left out of the college football playoff. Preseason polls peg A&M #6 so expectations are sky-high. The schedule sets up nicely. Assuming QB play is decent and the OL gels, Oct 9th is the weekend that decides greatness.

Curious where OU and UT would be?

I might have OU 1

Tied for 8th? I'll take it after the abomination that was the Chad Morris era.

A&M beats Alabama.
A&M loses to LSU.
Auburn beats Bama.
A&M goes to Atlanta instead of Alabama.
LSU fans don’t know how to react.

I could see A&M losing to Ole Miss simply because of our offensive philosophy alone.

They won’t finish 2nd, but they very well could with a couple lucky bounces.

The only saving grace for Ole Miss this year is their pathetic, pathetic excuse for a schedule. They get Tennessee and Vandy along with an embarrassing non conference schedule. But they're going to struggle against teams with a pulse because they won't be able to stop anyone.

Yet they claim their schedule is tougher than ours based on some twitter dude.

The guy from ESPN corrected it though doing down all Sec teams. I WISH we had that schedule.
