I think they would if they were coming off a 3 win season, it's impossible to know.

Why would the other top tier SEC schools I listed not touch Petrino as a HC hire?
1. That is your opinion.
2. I don't give a frick what you think LSU or Bama might or might not do.
You whole jibber jabber is worthless and a waste of time. Is that why you have so many posts? Just keep saying the same thing over and over and over?
And we have answered you multiple times already. So quit repeating yourself.

I love guys like you. So self serving, and thinking you are so important.
Lemme remind you of the OP:

If you don't like my opinion, get the frick out of this thread, and go hang out at an Auburn only site where you and your butt buddies can jack each other off with thoughts of Petrino being your new coach.

My thing is, why is the fan base going so hard after Petrino? Why aren't you guys pushing for a coach like Gary Patterson who interviewed during the previous search so obviously there was some interest?
He's a proven winner, including BCS Bowls, undefeated seasons, and Conference Championships. TCU is a private school so he has the more with less thing down and is respected nationally?
Why not campaign for someone like Patterson rather than going with the popular opinion that Petrino is the only coach that would take the Auburn job and convincing yourself this is okay?

Kentucky already has their Petrino coaching basketball. Tenn already hired Kiffen (Petrino like and got burned), Arkansas - well does that really need explained - and quit acting like UA, UGA, LSU have some strong hold on good coaching picks - please.

Petrino is a huge risk for any school at this point.
Much less a school under NCAA scrutiny.

Has Petrino ever coached a team that had NCAA issues?

Let us all in on how you know so many powerful people and their personal opinion on a such a what-if type of question.
Because I understand the difference between a tier 1 school and a tier 2 school. Not too difficult.
Unless you're a dumb frick.

Would simply be a dumb hire.
When was the last time he left a team on a good note? Yeah, never
Eta: id take him as an an OC in a heartbeat though

I'd take him with a good defensive coordinator any day.

no way. he hasn't even proved he can win the west. And way too much risk there. I do hope auburn hires him though
