I could've said all my smack last year but then the masses would get all riled up and we just can't have that.
this first game is/was completely irrelevant. Mizzou will most likely enter as an underdog so we shall all see how the the midwestern Tigers fare against the little puppies.

No Mizzou fan on here thinks we're world beaters. You have to understand, we were tired of being treated like dog shite in the Big 12. We brought ourselves up a long way from being in that same conversation with Kansas when it comes to football.
Believe me, it was a long, difficult road to get to this point. We'll always assume the role of the forgotten, overlooked, and underestimated football team. As a fanbase that's what we are. Everything will always suck and we'll never really know for sure.
However, 9/8 represents the day when we leave the 5th downs and the kicked balls officially behind. When we joined the SEC we also killed that fat arse monkey that has sat on our back for so many years.
The Mizzou fanbase will always be passionate and ridiculous, even if it makes no sense to anyone else thats just the way we are.

Majority (not all, but certainly the majority) has been either talking shite about the performances of other SEC teams today and/or throwing out some "you're on notice" type posts. Yes, that reeks of overinflated opinions. Especially when we've seen numerous threads today and before today of it.

No one is "skeered"
You don't understand that after we play Mizzou, we play Tennessee, then USC, then Florida, Auburn, etc...etc...etc.
Mizzou is just another number...with less history.

Who? I guarantee none of the posters in this thread have, and to be honest I've yet to see a thread saying we were going to beat the frick out of UGA.
Perhaps some have questioned them after today, but not one of us thinks UGA will be an afterthought. shite, they are the first top tier team we've ever played this early in the season. Don't mistake believing in our team with foolish arrogance that we will beat them.

Have I hammed it up some on here tonight a few times? Yeah, I probably have, but hell Belle, football season has finally arrived, and ya really can't blame a guy for being excited about that. Nor could you really understand the mess we just came out of and joined the best conference on the planet.

By the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch I swear that Georgia is deserving of a top 25 team. I am less convinced that they are a top 10 team.
You people (I suppose I could be less offensive and just say y'all) just don't understand.
Your team is good, maybe even very good. The team you face next week does not care. Intimidation does not work on midwesterners. Show up with ALL your 1st stringers and let's see what happens. We have boys that are hurt. So what? No-one is gonna get raped. That shite is gross.

I think most if not all Mizzou fans know UGA's solid. But I also think most Mizzou fans think we have a chance to compete against them. What's so wrong with that from a fan base?
