That is amazing and I owe an apology to bigDgator for questioning the depth of the SEC.

You don't owe me an apology sir, but I am glad you came around on the dominance of SEC softball. Especially the depth. Ole Miss finished 11th in the conference and they are going to the WCWS. Georgia finished 12th and didn't win a series and took UF to 3 games in the Super. We are DEEEEP!

Go take a look at the 11th and 12 best teams in other conferences, and they wouldn't hold a candle to ours.

LSU is always in it... until Beth does her thing. Very disappointing.
Softball Nikki needs to to be removed from being employed by LSU. She's been there too long and has worn out her welcome. Time to go. Farewell & Adieu. GTFO. LSU can do much better than Torina.

The game has not progressed very much. The girls aren't significantly more attractive. There aren't more black girls. It's still not popular. Still a bunch of lesbians. To say the athleticism is shocking is just bizarre.

LSU softball starts out hot every year and then chokes or flames out the last 7-8 years. Torina started out great the first few years.

Yeah, and if South Carolina hadn't blown G2 against UCLA, it would have been 6 of the 8. I blame their coach for changing pitchers with two outs in the seventh.

Anyway, 5 of 8 is pretty darn good. It's just unfortunate that 4 of the 5 are in the same bracket. I'm rooting for Ole Miss to get through the bottom half of the bracket to make it an all-SEC finals.

I guess it depends on what time frame we're talking about.

Yes, it hasn't progressed that much in the last 5-10 years. But in the last 20-30 years it has made an incredible leap. Batters have caught up to pitchers, and fielding skills are awe inspiring.

The chest-beating on this board is hilarious.

Don't you people know that if OU and Texas had stayed in the Big 12, it would be three WCWS teams for the SEC and three for the Big 12?

College baseball absolutely needs a throw over limit and minimum number of batters faced rule like MLB

If the ncaa won't do it I wish we would do it internally. We throw the ball away on pick off attempts fricking constantly. Also a single is as good as a double against tennessee because we can't throw out a person stealing second.

I see a lot of hotties when I watch it and I know they aren’t all lesbians as a lot of them are dating football or baseball players.

Given I am 53 so maybe my standards aren’t as high as they used to be.

My one complaint about softball is that they need to move the fence back about 20 feet. Way too many home runs.
