Another warning for OU and TU fans. Don't believe the hype about Saturday in Athens. Not saying it's bad or anything, just way overrated.
They have the same things that 90% of the other college towns have.
They have bars. So does everyone else.
They have good looking women. So does every other college.
They have cops that want to be assholes on game day. So does everyone else...especially Knoxville.
The one thing they do have the rest of us don't. Georgia rednecks.

Lord help you if you have to take a dump in Neyland Stadium.
Also, I have personally observed Tennessee fans throw visiting babies out and over the top section of their stadium. Live Human Babies.

Athens has been voted the #1 college town in the nation many times. Even some GT students have actually made the trip to party there. I’ve run into a few of them over the years and they said they aren’t UGA fans but love Athens. Georgia fans love to party and if you are respectful and can hold your liquor you will be welcomed to join in.
