We don't have a "paid" hitting coach. IIRC, neither does A&M. Think their second paid assistant is also their recruiting coordinator like Cain is for us.

Pretty sure we just needed 1 win in the tourney to get a hosting spot. We already got that. I don’t think 2 very close losses to ranked teams will hurt us.

That doesn’t make a lot of sense at all. Y’all have a very comparable resume to us but we have better SOS and we have the head to head win and more SEC wins. I think both of us should make it in but A&M isn’t a lock by any means

I think both A&M and LSU were in a position of needing 2 wins to lock up a host and would remain on the bubble with only 1 win. I think each going only 1-2 puts them in a situation of possibly needing some other teams to drop off. I guess we'll see

You'd think with the history of rain delays and other bullshite they would adjust to schedule to account for late games.

not really anything they can do when they starts game 1 at 9:30 AM local time and start the tournament on Tuesday. Hard to get 4 games in 3 straight days without stuff happening like that to screw it up. Only thing they could do would be shrinking the field or going to a different format like single elimination throughout)
