I’m very confused by D1 baseball’s logic for not having us host. We were the 14 seed for them last week, went 3/4 and took 2/3 vs Auburn, and dropped to a 2 seed?

And I think both A&M and LSU should get in. But I fail to see why D1 thinks they should host and not us. We have a better conference record, better SOS, and we won h2h

One of the things they are not considering is that if it is close, they will give LSU a regional because they know you will fill the stands.

Except that hasn’t always been the case in the past. In fact it seems almost everytime we are on the hosting bubble we don’t host

The argument should not be who deserves to host between LSU & A&M...I don't remember the last time a 16 win team from the SEC hosted and it has been some years since a 17 win team hosted.
I think it's going to both or none, it's naive to start picking apart resumes because both have pro's and con's which can't objectively be argued.

Not great for us. Ole Miss has played well against Arkansas this season. I mean, its not an end of the world situation for the Hogs. We are basically just trying to rest our starters for the Regionals but Ole Miss, even with their recent issues, isn't the team I'd care to face.
