What's the consensus. Is Georgia a lock for a national seed? Do conference tournaments usually mean much towards seeding?

I think we should be ok. RPI is 3rd and most of the projections had us around the 4th national seed. We might drop a bit but I doubt we fall out of the top 8.

Depends on who you ask. D1Baseball maintains that the SEC is getting 4 teams in the top 8 so this game is meaningless to both UGA and ole miss. I tend to believe that the winner gets a super regional spot and the loser may be sweating it out come Monday

Yeah that's my view too. I think both could get it, but the team that wins this is in a better position IMO.

Our lineup is all jacked up too. Our DH is in right, our starting 1B is batting as DH, we have backups in at 1B and C, our pitcher from yesterday is starting CF

Only way we could look worse is if Adkins started throwing wild. I’m seriously having flashbacks to the last 4 years; it’s like every bad trait of Stricklins first 4 teams has decided to resurface
