yep. You can see the stand just to the left of the batter's eye. They aren't going to put anyone up on that giant lightening rod until the threat passes.

If only we had drone cams that no human would need be around them.. Or even robot cams in the CF

terrible idea. Need the human's eye out there to see everything that isn't in the viewfinder. Unless you just never want to see where the balls actually going after it's hit.
That being said...I don't see why they didn't just frame the shot, lock down the sticks, and just leave it.
