3 outs away. If we go 2-0 without using a single weekend starter, I might get my hopes up and expect to make it to Saturday.

Eh, not sure about that. LSU's pitching besides Hilliard and Peterson is garbage at this point. Hilliard had a good outing against Auburn, but he's also been roughed up some away from the Box. Hess looked bad last night in relief, and he's struggled the second half of the season.

I took it as a dig only because, yes, LSU has to play to win it like no other given their garbage dump of a regular season. Otherwise, its NCAA fate is in the committee's hands.

LSU takes this tournament more seriously than most. Yall make a good point that they really needed to this year to feel safe for regionals.
Most years I want A&M to help lock up a host seed/national seed/regional spot and don't get overextended or tired before the reason season begins.

Yesterday's Game 2 game started at 2:10pm. So it's on the same trajectory as yesterday. Unless there's a rain delay, extras or 10 run rule. Game 3 should start between 5:15-5:45pm

im trying not to get my hopes up that we can still host, but when is the last time a 40 win top 10 RPI team didnt host?
