No, you don't.

better WR
Wrong again.

3 for 3.

OLs are equal
Wrong on all accounts.
You'll be in the top 5, but Ark, South Car, and MSU will be the top 3 offenses in the SEC this year.

You Auburn fans are delusional.

Mississippi State has better Running Backs
And better overall running game with Relf at QB.

we can argue back and forth all day and not convince each other one way or the other, but we'll all know the answers in a few weeks.
Dyer & McCalleb > Ballard & Perkins
Blake & Lutz > Bumphis & whoever your #2 pass catcher is
Trotter Passing > Relf Passing
i'll give you
relf running > trotter running
MSU OL > AU OL... though it's not as much as people are thinking.

Your backs will be running behind new linemen and Cam isn't in the backfield. Defenses will be keying on your backs and their production will go down.

Yep, just like 09

Posted on 8/28/11 at 10:55 am to blzr
In 09 y'all had 4 returning starters on the OL and a solid NFL power back
Posted on 8/28/11 at 10:55 am to Al Bundy Bulldog
and people will load up the box and force your mediocre QB and WRs to beat them... just like AU, UF, LSU, and Bama did last year.
State's offense was very average last year... 40s in yards, 50s in points... it's not a stretch to think AU can't beat those numbers, even if Relf & Co are improved.

That usually happens when you rush for 4,000 yards in one season. We will, once again, have a top 30 offense in college football.

Ill take Ballard and Perkins heart and determination over Dyer and McCalleb any day of the week. They may not had the number of stars coming out of hs like your backs did, but they have motors that won't stop.

And everyone thought they sucked arse after the poor '08 season. Then Gus Malzahn arrived...

I disagree. I'm with you on the other positions, but Auburn gets the edge at RB. Dyer and McCalleb will still get their numbers despite the o-line issues. I do think Ballard is legit, however.

I think Auburn will rank in the top 5 in offense. They have decent skill players at most positions and Gus's system puts up big numbers. At Tulsa they put big numbers up agaist far better talent.
I think Auburn has the talent and coaching to put up big stats, I don't know how that will translate wins.

The Gainesville Sun ran a series of articles the last few weeks ranking the units of each team. Interesting that they didn't rank the QB's/ backfields...maybe didn't want to further destroy what was left of Johnny's confidence?

No way in hell State should be ranked that low on DLine & secondary. That is absurd!
