Oklahoma is a tough one. I finally decided on this:
Oklahoma - Texas, Missouri, Mississippi State (Oklahoma State)
Texas and Missouri are perfect, but the third team is a mystery.
Arkansas? A&M? Florida?

They are not drawing 3 Big 6 SEC opponents
According to accurate reporting from Ross Dellenger, Tennessee is now in the Little 8. Alabama isn't getting 2 Little 8 opponents. So they're not getting Moo State. Might get LSU, though Florida might get LSU.

So if LSU draws Florida, will Alabama get Oklahoma?

Oklahoma vs. Bama would be a game fans would love to see annually.

This is what I would like, hard though it may be. These are teams I want to play (and beat) every year.

I don't know of any Auburn fan that considers Mississippi State to be a rival.

Seems like a safe statement. For MSU I think their real rival is Ole Miss and then maybe Kentucky.
But assuming Auburn is locked in with Georgia and Alabama? They should get a little eight opponent permanent as the third. And the little eight team Auburn has can't have another major permanent opponent.
When you realize there are some automatic pairings (eg LSU/OM, Texas/Arkansas, Alabama/Tennessee, Oklahoma/Missouri, Georgia/USC) I think Auburn and MSU end up making sense from the available options (more than Auburn/Vanderbilt and more rational than Florida/MSU instead of Florida/Kentucky).

Alabama - LSU, Auburn, Tennessee

I don't like any of the 3-6 options but the least bad solutions I've seen for LSU are either:
Florida, A&M, Ole Miss
Or
Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss
The second one would be my preference for historical and personal reasons. My love of college football was created by attending the 97 Florida/LSU game when LSU upset the then undefeated reigning national champs. If Florida disappeared (on top of Auburn) a lot of what made me a fan of cfb is toast.

There are several nouveau "rivalries" since the expansion in 1992. LSU-Aub, UF-Tenn are the best examples.
Those can DIAF as far as I'm concerned. We'll get Auburn often enough under either new proposal, but LSU-UF is more of a long-term rivalry for me.

Probably the most fricked up idea yet presented And that’s saying something
