In all honesty, I would be shocked if LSU didn't win the National Championship this upcoming season.

I think it's gonna be Southern Cal. I don't know if LSU will recover as well as we all think they should.

I'm not buying into the SC hype. They are good, but their defense is nothing to worry about. I'm not even sure they'll get through their schedule undefeated (Washington, Oregon, Arizona State, Notre Dame).

Has this changed any since before the bike wreck?

The loss to Alabama. That was a program changing loss if Miles isn't careful.

Do I think LSU will win 11+ games and head to Atlanta again? Absolutely. Do I think they will steamroll through the Conference? Absolutely not. This the SEC, you never really know.

I think they were at 18:1 before the wreck but I'm not sure.

Meh. From everything I have read/seen/heard, the players are already past it. New quarterback, new life in the program. I expect great things this year.

Exactly. So when someone says "I will be shocked if LSU doesn't win it all" I just can't help but laugh. Even with the best team in the nation you need luck to win it all. AND you have a green QB who hasn't done shite.

We steamrolled everyone except for Alabama. We were destroying teams left and right. Alabama will be the only team this year to play us close. Thankfully it's in Tiger Stadium.

It does take a short memory to thrive in this league.

I like USC's offense a lot. The thing that really concerns me is their depth as a team. They have 15 really good players and a bunch of 18-year old backups. That's all.

I'm laying down my life's savings right now...

...that it won't be McCarron.

Be wary of trips to Gainesville and Auburn. Those teams were very green last year and are hungry to take the next step.

Also, you have a first-year starter at QB. He will make mistakes, maybe even one that will cost you a game.

Remember, UGA was a dropped TD pass from going up 17-0 on LSU at halftime of the SEC Championship Game. Don't count out UGA either.
