Grinding Brian didn’t take rape charges against his player seriously while at ND. Rumor was that he even made jokes and laughed at the young lady. She was ostracized by her classmate and became depressed at the way she was treated and committed suicide. This was told to me by a ND fan when ND played at UGA a few years ago. He didn’t like the Grinder and said he hoped the loss to UGA that night would result in the firing of Kelly. It didn’t

For the record, it wasn't the sex scandal that got him fired. He was fired because he lied to the AD and told him that he wasn't banging the girl and didn't get his arse kicked.. that's why the AD fired him. The AD couldn't trust him anymore, if Petrino just said ya I fricked that bitch.. he would still be coaching at Arkansas.
