Is that the one put out by WBT Sportz?

They had their chance to make a compelling bid and blew it.

I'd say that is a tad bit of overkill It's still a work in progress, for sure. But pretty damn good.

Bama fan in the game thread last week said our “ground and pound” offense won’t work on better teams

We have a subset of fans who spend 90% of their time either (a) trolling when we are kicking the shite out of everyone or (b) the combo of trying to convince themselves by saying stupid things that actually everything is fine and other teams really aren't that good AND/OR every other team on the planet is awesome and we're fvcking terrible aka "man I really wish we had Texas State's offense".

It's a joy.

Been telling people our defense sucks

It's a function of the modern offense, IMO.

As your offense improves, those defensive numbers invariably go down.

We don't have a Jordan Davis this year.
So we are having to defend offenses just like most other teams (without the cheat code).

Defense is improving week to week. Mostly at the ILB spots.

Had one tell me our defense was carrying the offense. Used the fact that Stet hasn’t played in 4th qtr yet as evidence.

As an OU fan, you have no idea how happy those defensive numbers make me. Offensive numbers will improve as well. Lebby kept it extremely vanilla in the first couple of games and opened it up a bit against Nebraska. Finally have some hope if we get in the playoffs.

If Ole Miss figures out a passing game, and I suspect Kiffin will figure something out there, they could be a dangerous team by the end of the year.

The irony is that our average depth of target is much shorter than last season but we are much better.
