How does it correlate to success? Any of these surprising?
1. Alabama (28)
2. Florida (13)
3. LSU (10)
4. Georgia (9)
4. Texas A&M (9)
6. Missouri (6)
7. Mississippi State (5)
7. Tennessee (5)
9. Auburn (4)
9. Ole Miss (4)
9. South Carolina (4)
12. Kentucky (2)
13. Arkansas (1)
14. Vanderbilt (0)
I'm a little surprised that Auburn has only had 4. They've recruited at a high level for the entire decade, kind of figured they'd be in the 7-10 range.
Missouri with 6 is impressive.

I couldn’t name the 5 first rounders we’ve had and I somewhat doubt that number is accurate

Dang. Auburn is a Top 10 recruiter and Ole Miss a Top 20 recruiter.
Goes to show that ya never know

Missouir and AU are the only ones that are a real "surprise", for opposite reasons.
Vanderbilt may be a teeny tiny surprise, since there was a stretch there a while back where it seemed like every few years they'd have a stud that could potentially be 1st round material (jordan matthews, zach cunningham, etc). Although it's still vandy so not a total surprise they have 0.

Yea I expected one of those guys to have been a 1st round pick. Cunningham was 2nd, Matthews was 2nd, Hayward was 2nd.

should be at #7.
Also, I want to say mizzou was top 3 up till about 3 years ago.

Not really when you consider the timeframe. We were only good 2 or 3 years during that stretch.

But there were some good players even on the so-so teams. And a lot of highly recruited players.

If you have 3 on one team, does that mean you should win more than 8 games? Just out of curiosity
Apparently I have "too high" of expectations to ask for a top 3 SEC West Finish at minimum if you have that.
And for our offensive gurus. We had a borderline 1st round OL that will be taken in the 2nd round, and a returning 1000 rusher that was limited because coach wanted a pass happy offense.
And for all the people blaming Fitz. It was Moorheads decision to keep him as starter. And if it was all Fitz's fault, we should have all of our problems fixed with KT

is this since the 2010 season or the 2010 draft (2009 season)?

Unfortunately a lot of those washed out of Auburn

Yeah but you know that “good” doesn’t get you in the first round, you have to be elite and we just didn’t have many of those guys.

Because we suck at player development We will have at least one more next year with our DL and potentially Tega is things click for him.
