I know ... we've gone undefeated in facilities back to back years and still haven't even sniffed a BCS NC game apperance.

My vote goes to Ole Miss

But Ole Miss has yet to make Atlanta and hasn't made it to Omaha in decades. Mississippi State has done both and even has made it to the final four in the last 15 years. Everytime it looks like Ole Miss has a team that can make a run--regardless of the sport, they falter. But their fans keep believing it's their year. So if anyone has an inferiority complex, I would think it would be Ole Miss.

Atlanta. Omaha. Final Four. Recent SEC Overall Championship and two SEC Tourney Championships in Basketball. 41-27, and two knees.

What is it we're trying to one up again?

Still has nothing to do with an inferiority complex.

....MSU's recent Alumni meeting is a prime example of having an inferiority complex. Mullen mention Ole Miss 7 times in one meeting.

THAT is a definition of having an inferiority complex.

Which fanbase printed a letter in a newspaper--prior to the SEC baseball tournament--to pound their chest because they had swept LSU in the big sports (and mentioned the other minor sports that they had beaten LSU in)?

Later on at the dais, Mullen preached optimism, sure. But he seemed more subdued than last year, when he referenced "The School Up North," his euphemism for Ole Miss, seven times

THAT is feeding it's fanbase on a rivalry.

not really. He came in last year and fired up a rivalry that hadn't been the same since the late 90s, this year he barely made mention of OM.

I wasn't insinuating that Mullen had the inferiority complex.

But your paragraph concurs my statement.

Perhaps you missed the part where it said he did that last year? He came in last year after the Crooms' era and tried to rev up a rivalry that wasn't the same since the late 90s. This year he mentioned getting to Atlanta more than OM or anything like that.

Not really.

Ole miss acting like it's not a rivalry between State/ole miss but one with LSU/ole miss is an inferiority complex. Desperately trying to act like an elite SEC school is an inferiority complex.

another example:
how msukb790 constantly starts threads on here about a State girl winning Miss Mississippi contest is an example of an inferiority complex.

I promise you that no Ole Miss fan is saying this. You are just twisting statements when you see that.

Just because most Ole Miss fans see a bigger rivalry with LSU doesn't mean that they don't see one with MSU.

i'm not sure where it indicates MSU having an inferiority complex in there?
