Barring a sudden drop off by one of these teams, this is likely going to be Gameday. Two top 5, undefeated teams squaring off at BD.

No, Tennessee... you're not likely to beat either team. ;)

I wonder which team would be the one to have a dropoff...

Yet again, the East is trash.

Neither is likely.

Both Alabama and A&M still have Tennessee left
Alabama also has Arkansas

Both also have games against bottom dwellers (Kentucky for Bama, South Carolina for A&M)

Don't forget about the Iron Bowl. Crazy shite can happen in rivalry games.

Yes, but that's after the A&M game. I'm referring to the lead up.

Gotcha. A&M gets a soft game vs USC then a big showdown with UT. After that is rest up and get ready for Bama bye week. Bama on the other hand has to go through 2 physical weeks of Arky & UT with no rest. I think that is enough to negate Bama's home field advantage.

I'm inclined to agree. It seems each year our last game prior to our bye week is against a solid, upward trending team.

Regardless, I fully expect it to be a great game. Two best teams in the SEC, IMHO.
