Florida was 12th in the SEC last year and is 5th in the nation this year with true freshman starting a littered in the 2-deep.

Either Austin Armstrong is a defensive savant or Billy is phenomenal at talent evaluations

I think you are improved but you also haven’t played any outstanding offenses.

Even Utah was without their two best QBs.

Let’s see how it goes against LSU, UT and UGA.

We held UT to 16 points. Their 3rd lowest total under Heupel.

Also, these stats are relative to the other SEC teams who have also played primarily cupcakes.

You sure did my mistake.

Was posting on the fly and should’ve double checked.

Those numbers are pretty close in the middle. A lot of average d. I wonder how it stacks up in the whole fbs though

Yards per game isn't a very good metric. Yards per play is better since not all games have same number of plays. Here it is sorted by yards per play:

TAMU falls from 2nd to 9th. UT rises from 6th to 1st.

USCe stays at 14th either way. Their defense appears bad.

But limiting plays is also something defenses play a role in

YPP isn't very good either
