Well technically the ruling on the field had nothing to do with spearing so this whole thing is just fricked up because it's why the are suspending him.
Either way, the kid deserves to be suspended so they made the right call.
I do get a kick out of the fact though that we are now pushing 70 pages of discussion on Arkansas' #5 WR and part time gunner.

yeah I did not count any less than 3 spearing helmet to helmet hits in the LSU AUBURN game. It looked legit to me.

I realize its been rehashed ad nauseam in here the last couple of days but I wonder if you personally were this upset when Chad Jones speared Joe Adams two years ago?

I'm just saying PRs get hit like that. It sometimes happens in football. It's a unfortunate thing, but it's a very physical sport.
LSU fans have really attacked this kid on the board and quick to judge. There are things that your team has done after the whistle and not in the realm of football that they should be embarrassed of. I've seen some of the same people defend Jordan Jefferson. So it just makes some of you guys look like hypocrites.
